National Doodle Day has begun in the United States.
The doodles are available for bidding on eBay until the 17th.
Since I picked a favorite during the British campaign, I’ll designate a favorite for this one too.
I’m going with Matthew Perry’s contribution because it captures the spirit of a doodle and of the NF effort.

Karen McDade is a third-grader with NF-2. Her cookie, the Chocklet Heaven, was chosen by Otis Spunkmeyer as the winner of a cookie creation contest.
The company will produce Karen’s cookie and sell it in schools around the country. Some of the proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Jamie Farrow recently had a NF 1 related brain tumor removed. To get to it, doctors only had to remove a piece of skull about two inches in diameter. These less invasive surgeries lessen the post-operation scarring and recovery times. Read more about this story at the Star News website.
Don’t forget that May is National Neurofibromatosis Awareness Month. Keep your eyes open for events by all the national and regional organizations. And spread the word!
