This site first heard about Leah Manth and the Run4Leah effort back in May of last year. WGRZ has an update on the eight year old, and the Run4Leah fundraising team is back in gear to prepare for the 2009 Buffalo Marathon (May 24). Click on her name above for more information.

Lucie Macfarlane would like to see marijuana legalized as a medical option for the pain from her NF tumors and spinal problems. The Southtown Star covers the most recently proposed Illinois Senate bill.

The Boston Marathon is only three days away. On April 20, Scott May will be running in honor of his son, Max, and to raise money for NF, Inc. Northeast. Read more about him by following the above link.

The British Columbia Neurofibromatosis Foundation’s long-running fundraiser, Jeans for Genes, is this Saturday. Tickets are $75. Please see their website for location details.
