The Baltimore Sun ran a Lifestyle article about Neurofibromatosis on Thursday. It featured the stories of two women with NF, Jeannine Lancaster and Megan Leaf, to demonstrate the variations and range of problems that NF can produce.

Two area high school students, Michaela Bero and David Santos, have organized their school mates to collect change at numerous locations around Foxboro on August 16. Both students have a cousin with NF. Look for them and donate as you can.

The NF Support Group of West Michigan is holding their 6th annual Golf Classic on Friday, August 22. The Quail Ridge Golf Club is in Ada, Michigan. Money raised will go towards the NF Medical Travel Fund.

Simply Ceramics is hosting a paint-your-own-pottery fundraiser from 5:00 to 8:00 pm this Sunday. Raffles and silent auctions will also be held.
